I focus on logic rather than rote steps to ensure that drafting techniques stick for the long term. Having taught 100 plus of students, I know that technical confidence comes from deep understanding.

My approach builds clarity into every line drawn. This makes the drafting floor far less intimidating for beginners and seasoned learners alike.

About the lesson

Focusing on the underlying geometry rather than just tool buttons prevents the most common drawing mistakes. Learning how to manage arrays and parametric constraints requires a shift in perspective that prioritizes building clean files from the start.

I guide students through precise drawing with coordinates and the rigorous application of templates and drawing standards to mimic real firm environments. We tackle dimensioning and annotation along with hatching and fills to give your work a polished appearance.

Importing and exporting DWG and PDF files is handled with a focus on file integrity. Getting comfortable with layouts and plotting is essential, so we spend significant time bridging the gap between model space and paper space.
