About Ellen
In my role as an A-Level Business tutor, my foremost priority is to inspire confidence in my students by establishing my legitimacy and demonstrating professionalism in every aspect of my teaching. With a meticulously crafted approach to tutoring, I strive to create an environment where students feel empowered to excel. My teaching methodology revolves around instilling a deep understanding of complex business concepts through clear explanations, relevant examples, and interactive discussion. Having dyslexia myself gives me a unique perspective and empathy towards students who may also struggle with learning differences. Through my own experiences, I've developed creative strategies and alternative approaches to overcome challenges, which I can now share with my students. My dyslexia has taught me patience, resilience, and the value of adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs, allowing me to connect with students on a deeper level and guide them towards success with understanding and compassion. By fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere, I aim to build students' confidence in their abilities to tackle challenging topics with ease.

As a dedicated A-Level Business tutor, my approach to tutoring is centered around fostering a deep understanding of key concepts through engaging and interactive sessions. Emphasizing critical thinking and application, I encourage active participation and discussion to reinforce comprehension. Typically, my lessons run for about 60 minutes, allowing sufficient time for thorough exploration of topics without overwhelming students. With a background in business studies and a proven track record of academic success, I bring extensive experience to my tutoring sessions. My qualifications include A levels at A*AB with the A* being in A level Business Studies and I am now in my 2nd year of University at The University of Nottingham. My lessons are designed for A-Level students, typically aged 16-18, seeking to excel in their AQA Business studies.
