About Lingyan
I am an art history student, Mandarin is my native language. I have taught several children Chinese speaking and writing in China before, it helped them a lot for entering middle school. When I was an undergraduate student, I passed the Mandarin Proficiency Test and got 91.5 (Total points: 100). My Chinese expression is standard for anyone who is interested in learning Chinese.

My teaching method is to tell students how to communicate with people in Mandarin and recognize some frequently used Chinese characters. The lesson structure will be very specific, for example, the first part is learning Pinyin. Pinyin is like phonetic symbols in English, it is the most important knowledge for pronouncing Chinese characters not only for non-native speakers but also for Chinese children. The second part is learning simple Chinese grammar. The third part is learning some daily expression.
