About Rikki
My name is Rikki Soliman and I am currently studying at Otago University to receive my postgraduate degree for the Master of Teaching and Learning programme endorsed in Primary Education. I can speak three languages: Tagalog/Filipino (native), English (fluent), but am also currently learning Te Reo Māori.
I am passionate about learning and understanding from different cultures in order to further widen my own personal perspective. Teaching and helping others achieve their goals by guiding them towards success is something that I find to be exceptionally satisfying and fuels my drive to make a difference through the teaching industry.
When I'm not busy working, studying, dancing or teaching, my favourite pastimes include playing board games, video games or listening to a good audiobook with a cup of tea!

Spanish
Flexible routine and structure with personalised methodologies to work around different learning styles. First tutoring session will consist of an overview of academic expectations at the current level of study in order to identify key strengths and weaknesses regarding the course.
Have previously tutored in non-professional peer-oriented settings for a variety of subjects through highschool and university: Mathematics (primary), English (primary), Science (highschool) and Spanish (highschool and university). I have also professionally taught dance classes for Latin styles in Dunedin
Lessons are typically 1.5 hours as the first 30 minutes are dedicated to content review/overview, 45 minutes for tutoring in specific topics and a final 15 minutes for questions and/or clarifications.

Lessons are charged at $30 per session and will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The lessons are structured as below and may be flexible depending on the student's needs.
- 30 minutes for course review/overview.
- 45 minutes of dedicated and specific tutoring.
- 15 minutes for questions and clarifications or for planning the following session.
As lessons are typically 1 hour and 30 minutes, first free lesson will only be 45 minutes in order to understand the student's specific needs, create a general course overview and plan for future sessions.
