About Kristen
I am an anthropologist who specializes in applying emerging technologies to cultural studies and cultural outreach - from the development of VR experiences to digital archives. My current research focuses on designing multi-player VR games which explore ancient archaeological sites, and I am working with a team to publish an experience on Steam. I also have two years experience providing technical instruction at a public makerspace, teaching members of the public how to use 3D printers, laser cutters, and much more. Overall, I am deeply passionate about cultural heritage and technology, and am excited to share my passion with you!

I have a Master of Science in Digital Heritage and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology. I provide introductory-level lessons in anthropology/archaeology, ideally for undergraduate and high school students. I aim to make lessons as interactive and engaging as possible, and encourage active participation from my students. The more involved you are with the learning process, the more you learn. Thus, I invite my students to use their imaginations and learn with a playfully curious attitude.
