About Andrew

- What kind of experience do you have?

I got into tutoring when I home schooled two of my own children in both Baccalaureate and A levels - particularly my 15-year-old son in French and Psychology in which he sat A2 at the age of just 16, two years early achieving A and C grades. He is currently studying for four further A levels. I have actually been educating adults for over 30 years in Wine and Wine Business which is my alter ego.

About the lesson

I am a bilingual, bicultural, dual Nationality French and English International tutor with a languages degree and a Masters Degree in Business. I have lived in Austria and France for over 26 years and have now relocated to London.

- How much do you charge?

I charge £25 per hour one on one for pre GCSE age children with a group charge of £10 per additional child.
I charge £30 per hour one on one for all ages GCSE and above with a group charge of £10 per additional student.
I do not charge for travel within the zone I teach.

- Where do you teach?

I teach at home in Balham conveniently situated between Balham station and Tooting Bec on the Overground and Northern Lines. I also teach at students' homes within a 5 mile radius of my base.

- When are you available?

I am available throughout the School Holidays for revision and reinforcement in French, German and Business for GCSE and AS A2 levels.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach all ages from Juniors to Adult.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

GCSE, AS, A2, IB and University undergraduate.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

Online tutoring via Webcam, Skype or Facetime.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

All students benefit from one on one tuition, whether exceptionally talented or in difficulty in an area of a subject. Personal tuition gives you the opportunity to clear up an area that you feel uncertain about or to ask those questions you did not dare ask in class.
