About Sarah

I am a 2nd year biomedical student studying at the University of Warwick and I am looking to do postgraduate medicine. I did Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and Music A-level but I really enjoyed Psychology. I teach the AQA Psychology spec however, if requested, I am also able to teach the AQA biology spec (more specifically, how to write the 25 mark essay in paper 3 ).

About the lesson

Prior to lessons, I'd start by discussing the aims of what the student would like to achieve and any concerns about certain topics.During lessons, I will then go over content to solidify the student’s understanding and consolidate it through the use of exam questions, fun kahoot quizzes and flashcards. Using spaced repetition, a scientifically accurate revision method, we will be able to boost the students learning whilst decreasing academic stress. My aim is to make learning fun and enjoyable whilst also boosting the students grades and potential.
The gap between GCSE's and A-levels is no joke (especially, the amount of content being taught in those 2 years) therefore, in my sessions, I will encourage your child, meet them at their own learning pace to ensure lesson engagement as this is necessary for them to learn and remember the information given to them.
