About Bill
I am a passionate educator who truly loves teaching and helping others learn. My former students would classify me as a science geek due to my love of biology. As a teacher, I taught grades 9-12 in biology and health professions as well as helping to create and pilot new programs and courses. As a nurse, I have worked in PCU and surgical-oncology (med-surg) in positions that include floor RN, charge RN and preceptor.
I am originally from Central New York, but am currently living and working in Colorado. I have three lovely pups and enjoy spending time outdoors when I am not working or teaching.

I prefer an interactive approach rather than lecture style. I uselots of real world examples and interactives to keep student engaged. I spent 14 years teaching grades 9-12 in a public high school and online so I have a vast amount of experience teaching.
My lessons can be used for high school and college students. My specialties in biology include general biology, cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, anatomy and physiology.
As an RN, I am also able to help with the nursing process, pathophysiology, skills and NCLEX prep.
