About Ethan
I am a university student, my major is in Ancient Studies and my minor is in English. I am extremely passionate about history, especially medieval and ancient. In my personal time, I study and rank historical military generals as well as make slides about topics I'm passionate in. My biggest project is a complete and comprehensive family tree where I include a biography of everyone I can find information about. I am a fan of writing essays and have done so many, many times throughout my life and am always polishing my skills. I also love to critically analyze texts for both history and English.

I believe in positive reinforcement and growth in confidence. I like to present background information then invite discussion about certain topics. I don't believe in just lecturing; I like to discuss things to develop understanding of the content at a deeper level. I think what sets me apart is my passion to both teach and learn history. I love history and I am constantly learning more. The lessons would mostly be best for pre-university students as I am a university student, however with enough advance notice I can teach the concepts or help revise university-level courses.
