About Jennifer
My name is Jennifer, I am 25 years old and I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Ancient History. I know that traditional teaching methods don’t always work for every student and therefore I try and offer a more inclusive and personalised approach to my lessons. I am aware that teaching requires patience and I am more than willing to take my time and ensure that every one of my students feels supported and like they’re understanding the lessons content to their best ability.

Although I technically don’t have any tutoring experience I have been teaching in my current job role for the last year and have used teaching as a study tactic for my personal learning since my childhood. My lessons would typically be between a hour to an hour and a half in length and for all students up to A-Level. My lessons would consist of presentations, work sheets and ample chances to discuss and verbalise what we’ve just learnt, giving the students an opportunity to ask questions and clarify anything they didn’t understand. Having graduated in 2018 I feel that my teaching approach would resonate well with the students of today. As well as this, my current job role has given me experience teaching people with varying learning abilities and this in itself has given me the ability to personalise and tailor my approach to suit the needs of each individual student.
