About Rodolfo

Hi!, i´m a physical therapist who has been teaching anatomy for at least 20 years now, with a masters degree in human morphology science. Currently I'm studying medicine and i think i can be of help for students struggling with human anatomy.

Skills summary
• Classroom teaching skills
As a professor, my primary objective is that students can learn in my class using different teaching skills. I like my student to be creative so I encourage them to ask whatever question they want and encourage them to actively participate during the class
• Laboratory teaching skills
The Anatomy laboratory is a great instance for students to integrate their knowledge. So it is a crucial step in their learning process. I don´t like to facilitate their work, instead I encourage them to search the cadaveric structure by themselves and comprehend the different aspects of the structure such as position, composition, relationships and basic functionality
• Cadaveric dissection skills
As an Anatomist part of my work is to dissect cadaveric material in order to prepare classes or laboratory tutoring. That is the reason I have learned how to treat cadavers and how to dissect almost every region of the human body. I encourage students to make cadaveric dissection and guide them through the different structures.
• Teamwork skills
University environment makes you work with lot of colleagues, makes you share professional experiences but also personal ones. I describe myself as a very easy-going person who is very open-minded and willing to meet new people.
• Communication skills
I think communication is one of the most important skills a teacher needs to have. The way you communicate your knowledge, will make the difference in the students learning process. That is why a teacher has always to put himself in the student position, that's how you`re going to understand the student needs and be able to better communicate your knowledge to them.
