About Bryan
Good modeling starts with the realization that your keyboard shortcuts are the difference between speed and frustration. I treat these sessions as a direct application of the techniques I used during my 12 years in various analytics roles.
After earning my degree, I realized that many people lack the foundational structure needed to scale their work. We spend time building complex pivot tables that actually respond to changes in your source data. My 6 years of consulting provide the basis for the logic we apply to every single problem. You will receive a free practice workbook with exercises that simulate real-world office scenarios.
We work through data sets until the formulas and functions feel like common language rather than a chore. The goal is to reach a point where you do not need to ask for help anymore. My background ensures that we avoid shortcuts that might break your files later on. It is quite simple really.

Finance beginners and busy office staff form the core group I assist with data workflows. My foundational expertise is built upon a Master of Science in Analytics from Georgia Tech and 6 years of industry practice.
I focus on creating clean, efficient models that stand up to professional scrutiny. Excel is the primary tool where I help students transition from manual tasks to automated, robust spreadsheets. Navigating VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP is often where clients first see the value of a structured approach. I maintain a spreadsheet-savvy methodology to ensure that data cleaning and data validation become second nature.
My 6 years of management consulting have taught me that accuracy is the only standard that matters in business reporting. I emphasize date and time functions to keep your timelines precise and organized. Conditional formatting serves as the visual logic that makes your findings readable for leadership. I enjoy seeing students finally grasp the logic behind what-if analysis after years of struggling with static models.
