About Sachin
I'm Sachin, an Analytics Engineer based in Sheffield, UK, with over 5 years of professional experience in data and a Distinction MSc in Big Data Analytics from Birmingham City University.
My journey into data was not straightforward. I started with an Electronics Engineering degree in Delhi (India), taught myself SQL, Python, and everything in between and built my entire data career from scratch. That non-linear path is exactly what makes me a better teacher. I've been where my students are, and I know the exact moments where things feel impossible before they suddenly make sense.
I have hands-on industry experience working with SQL, Python, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, SSIS, Airflow, ETL pipelines, Power BI, Looker and AI across real production environments, not just personal projects. I've built data models, designed pipelines, and delivered insights that businesses actually used to make decisions.
But beyond the technical skills teaching is something I genuinely love. For over 8 years, I have been sharing knowledge in different capacities, and that passion has never faded. I don't just want to teach you SQL or Python. I want to light something up in you.
I may not be the sun for this earth but I will be the street light of my street. Reliable, always on, and there exactly when you need guidance in the dark.
My goal is simple: to be the mentor I wish I had when I was starting out. Because I believe knowledge shared is the greatest gift you can give someone trying to change their life

I'm a self-taught Analytics Engineer with a Distinction MSc in Big Data Analytics from Birmingham City University, UK. I know exactly how overwhelming it feels to start from scratch because I did too.
