About Sophia
My name is Sophia, I love teaching and learning alongside my students with fun activities and games. Reading is one of my favourite things to do and definitely my favourite subject to teach! The invention of reading and writing in every language is an exciting and ever changing story.

We will explore reading as an important, useful and fun activity using games and simple transitions to develop confidence. I have a bachelors degree in elementary education, specialized in math and science, as well as an AMI Montessori diploma. My lessons are designed for young prereaders developing their understanding for letter sounds, names and short words.
