About Kadria

About Me: Hi! I’m a Jamaican-born student who moved to the U.S. at 7 years old. Now I’m 17 and living that bilingual life! Growing up learning both Caribbean and American English has helped me understand what it’s like to adjust, improve, and really master the language—and now I want to help you do the same!

About the lesson

My Teaching Method & Techniques:
I focus on practical, real-life English that you can use every day. I mix fun with function:

Interactive conversations

Role-playing real situations (ordering at a café, job interviews, casual chats, etc.)

Grammar games and listening activities

Personalized vocabulary lists based on your interests
My goal is to make every lesson feel useful, relaxed, and motivating!

A Typical Lesson Plan:
Each session is tailored to your goals, but here’s a general structure:

Warm-up – A quick chat or review to get comfortable

Main Lesson Focus – Could be a grammar point, vocabulary theme, pronunciation drill, or conversation challenge

Practice Time – Through activities, games, or role-plays

Feedback & Tips – Immediate corrections and helpful advice to improve faster

Homework (optional) – Small, fun tasks to keep learning between sessions!

What Sets Me Apart:
Native English speaker with a clear, neutral American accent

Patient and encouraging – I know learning a language can be intimidating

Custom lessons – You won't get a one-size-fits-all class; everything is based on you

Tech-savvy – I use cool tools like quizzes, videos, and apps to boost engagement

I'm also still a student myself, so I know how to explain things simply and clearly!

Who Are These Lessons For?
High school or university students

Adults who want to boost their professional or casual English

Intermediate to advanced learners who want to speak more fluently and naturally
