About Amanda
Hello! I’m Amanda, and I love helping others learn American Sign Language in a welcoming and encouraging environment. My background includes working as an Educational Assistant and Substitute Teacher in a Deaf pre-K program, where I used ASL daily to support students’ communication and learning. I also work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), giving me experience adapting my teaching to different learning styles and supporting autistic learners.
I believe learning ASL should be practical, interactive, and enjoyable. Whether you’re a complete beginner, a parent, an educator, a healthcare professional, or simply interested in learning ASL, I’ll personalize each lesson to meet your goals. Together, we’ll build confidence through real-life conversations, vocabulary, and an understanding of Deaf culture.
My goal is to help every student feel comfortable, supported, and excited to communicate in ASL. I look forward to being part of your learning journey!

I believe learning American Sign Language should be engaging, practical, and confidence-building. My lessons are personalized to your goals, whether you’re a complete beginner, a parent of a Deaf child, a healthcare professional, an educator, or someone who simply wants to communicate more effectively with the Deaf community.
I have experience working in Deaf education and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), including supporting autistic learners. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to fit your pace and learning preferences.
My lessons focus on real-life conversations, vocabulary, Deaf culture, and building confidence through interactive practice in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Together, we’ll make learning ASL enjoyable and useful from day one.
