About Marcus
Hello! My name is Mr. Petersen, and I’m your typical science and math geek. I firmly believe that science is what makes the world go round (Isaac Newton would have agreed!). I earned my BSc in Physics from a university in America, and now I’m excited to share my passion for physics with you. My goal is not just to teach you the subject, but to help you discover how science can guide you toward finding your purpose in the world. Let’s explore the wonders of physics together!

As a physics tutor, I believe in an interactive approach where students actively engage with the material they’re learning. I find that the best way to practice is by physically doing the work, with guidance and support along the way when mistakes are made. I aim to explain concepts in a way that is both clear and accessible, ensuring that the material resonates with my students and keeps them interested. My lessons are designed to challenge students, encouraging them to step out of their comfort zone and truly grasp the subject. I strive to create a classroom environment that is both fun and educational, helping high school students or those entering university or college to develop a strong understanding and love for physics.
