About Mikael
My name is Mikael, I am 21 years old and I have played chess for most of my life. I first joined a chess club at 9 years old, and I have played tournaments in Kazakhstan, Spain, France and Germany. I have an official FIDE (International Chess Federation) rating of 1791. I am very passionate about chess, a game which I love, and I am eager to transmit this passion and love for the game to others as I help them improve.

As a chess teacher/coach, I teach with enthusiasm and passion, transferring my knowledge from years of playing experience into comprehensible ideas and principles for others to learn and follow. My teaching plan depends on the approximate level and goals of each student and thus is personalised.
I teach my students the basics of openings, middlegames, endgames, tactics and strategy as well as more advanced concepts, through playing training games, interactive tasks such as puzzles and quizzes, as well as easy-to-understand explanations of ideas.
My classes are aimed at beginner and intermediate players of all ages who want to improve their chess.
