About Sabrina
My "day job" is in education, so I have spent the entire school year in elementary and middle schools, re-learning how to understand and teach writing and reading comprehension on all levels. I work with both General Ed and Special Ed students, and I strongly value my relationships with all of them. I am familiar with moving at all kinds of paces and helping all kinds of different learners understand material, and would love to help more people here when the opportunity arises.

My teaching methods and techniques include personalized, individualized approaches to understanding where you are currently at and how we can work together to help you grow from there. I employ models and provide examples, but I believe in helping you lead yourself to new knowledge and answers.
My lessons can be anywhere from reading passages and interpreting them/answering questions about them (grammatical or comprehension-based) to practicing SERs and different examples of whatever part of papers/essays are needed. We can sit and work through questions together, practice writing a thesis for different topics, or go over a whole essay together and figure out how to edit it and make it better. Whatever you need to help you grow and succeed!
