About Lynnette
I currently work for a well-established homeschool charter school as a tutor for Language Arts, and have 23 years of experience working with charter schools in my area. I have stellar references from parents, students, fellow teachers, and administrators to attest to my qualifications. If your skills in English language arts are weak, I can help if you want to improve and do the work. I really enjoy creative writing and poetry, as well as the much-needed academic writing that needs to be mastered for success in school and many jobs.

I set my lessons based upon the needs of my students, but I have a preferred curriculum. I can help students that bring their curriculum to me for help or I can design a special sequence of lessons for those people that have a desire to improve but not a set path to get there. I have worked with homeschooled students and students that need specific short-term skills. I have worked most often with late elementary grades through high school age. I have tutored students in college to master specific skills too. I enjoy a dialogue, a question and answer exchange to make sure the student is learning the material and not just a lecture format.
