About Marta

Hi, I’m Marta. I’m from Spain and have lived in Australia for many years, so I know what it feels like to learn English for real life, not just from a textbook.

I’ve taught English for over 15 years, and I love helping students feel more confident, natural and independent when they speak.

My lessons are practical, friendly and focused on real conversations, so you can use English with more ease in everyday life, travel, work and social situations.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Marta. I’m a Spanish teacher and English tutor with over 15 years of teaching experience. My classes are practical, friendly and focused on helping students use the language confidently in real life.

My teaching approach is communicative and personalized. I don’t believe in memorizing long grammar lists without context. Instead, I help students understand how the language works and practice it through real situations, useful vocabulary, conversation, pronunciation, listening, and clear explanations. I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals, whether that is traveling, improving fluency, preparing for work, gaining confidence, or strengthening grammar and writing.

A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes, although shorter or longer sessions can be arranged depending on the student’s needs. Each class usually includes a warm-up conversation, targeted practice, correction, new language input, and practical exercises the student can use straight away.

I have taught English for more than 15 years and have experience working with learners from different backgrounds, levels and ages. As a Spanish native speaker who has lived and worked in Australia for many years, I understand both the challenges of learning a language and the confidence it can bring.

My lessons are suitable for adults, teenagers, beginners, intermediate and advanced learners. I especially enjoy helping students who feel nervous speaking, want to sound more natural, or need language skills for everyday life, travel, work or relocation.

My goal is to make lessons clear, useful and encouraging, so students leave each class feeling more confident and capable.
