My teaching approach for Algebra is centered on abstract algebra and its applications. I cover group theory in depth, including subgroups, cyclic groups, cosets, normal subgroups, quotient groups, homomorphisms, and isomorphism theorems with detailed proofs and examples. I teach ring theory, including subrings, ideals, quotient rings, integral domains, and polynomial rings. I cover field theory, including extensions, algebraic extensions, splitting fields, and Galois theory basics. I connect abstract concepts to applications in number theory, cryptography, and geometry to show the relevance of the subject. I use systematic derivations and provide visual analogies to make abstract ideas more intuitive. I provide detailed notes, proofs, and problem sets. I assign homework that includes proof writing, theorem applications, and problem-solving. I conduct regular tests and provide feedback on reasoning and clarity. I maintain a progress log and offer additional support for difficult topics. My goal is to prepare you for advanced mathematical studies and research.
