About Olivia
My name is Olivia and I am an Alberta Certified Teacher! I am a first year teacher looking to gain teaching experience through tutoring. I recently graduated from the the University of Lethbridge and have degrees in education and dramatic arts. In my free time I like to take pictures using my Asahi K1000 35 mm film camera. My favourite things include Billie Eilish, garlic toast, gardening and crystals. My question for you is would you rather fight a room full of toddlers or llamas?

Together we will discover your strengths and explore/observe what kinds of instruction and assessment practices work best for you. This can be communicated to your teachers to best support you in class. I am familiar with Alberta curriculum and can design lessons and activities to prepare you for diplomas and future grade levels. I believe in meeting you where you are at and we will not move on from a subject or activity until we both feel confident about your understanding.
I am also a recent university graduate and have alot of knowledge on how to navigate the system. I can act as a mentor and can answer pretty much any questions you may have from academics to what to expect from the university atmosphere. I can walk you through how to write university level essays as well as edit and make suggestions on how to make your essays stronger. How to study and prepare for exams, and how and where to apply for scholarships.
