As a teacher, I try to use different types of strategies when teaching. I love using various forms of technology and critical thinking activities. I also spend time chunking material, which breaks up the material in more manageable units. As a tutor, I would work with my students to ensure that they understand the material by providing a lot of practice and composing activities that keep their attention. The lessons are for high school students taking sociology, regular psychology, and U.S. history to 1877. In addition, I can help students who are taking AP psychology, as a result of being an AP grader for the last four years and teaching the AP psych curriculum since 2010.
