About Jodi
I understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language because I struggled with English when I first moved abroad. What helped me most was making learning fun through interactive practice and watching movies based on my own interests. That approach transformed my progress, and now I’m passionate about helping others experience the same. I want my students to enjoy learning, feel confident, and realise they can master a language too :)

I’m fluent in both Mandarin and English, which allows me to support Mandarin-speaking students in improving their English with clarity and confidence. I understand the common challenges Mandarin speakers face and explain grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary in a way that truly makes sense. My lessons are very interactive and conversational, creating a comfortable space to practise speaking while learning naturally. I’m patient, approachable, and committed to every student’s progress.
