About Fagan
Currently a student of Politics at the University of Southampton. In the past, during my summers, I spent time in Guatemala teaching English; also doing that for a paid internship for a year in Gijon, Spain. I’m incredibly passionate about languages; specifically the way languages are taught.

For me, it’s always vital to maintain morale. So, for instance, if a student “messes up”, I always place importance on ensuring, “No, it’s ok, let’s go again and better this time.”
My teaching method is based on always maintaining an external motivation to learn a language. For instance, I believe that preparing a student is easier when he/she wants to learn a language to use it in the host country or to converse with people from across the world, as opposed to just passing an exam. That passion and desire was at the forefront of helping me learn Spanish.
