About James
As a Maths student at Durham University, and someone who achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and A*s in Maths and Further Maths at A-level, I understand exactly what’s required to succeed at the top end. I also know how challenging it can feel to get there — which is why I focus on making my lessons clear, patient, and tailored to each student.
I’ve helped others boost their confidence and improve their understanding, and I genuinely enjoy explaining things in a way that finally makes it click.
Whether you're aiming for a Grade 5 or 9, I’ll help you work through tricky topics, sharpen exam technique, and feel more confident tackling any question.
