About Chloe

Hi! I'm currently heading into my second year of college, studying Aerospace Engineering - a field I chose because I am passionate about space, problem-solving, and how things work on a deeper level. I graduated summa cum laude from high school, made the honor roll consistently, and completed AP Calculus, AP Physics, and multiple honors math courses, as well as college-level math courses. Outside of academics, I've always been involved in my community, including running clubs and school activities. I believe learning should be clear, low-stress, and even enjoyable when it's explained the right way. I know how frustrating math can feel when it doesn't click, and I'm here to help make it understandable, step by step. As a tutor, I'm patient, supportive, and genuinely interested in helping students build confidence and reach their goals. Whether you need to catch up, stay on track, or get ahead, I'm here to help however I can!

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for middle school and high school students who want extra support in math - whether you're struggling with the basics or pushing for top scores in advanced courses like Precalculus or calculus.

Teaching Style &Tools
I tutor over Zoom using interactive slideshows, visuals, and screensharing, so students can follow along easily and stay engaged. I send students a copy of the slides after each session, so they have clear notes and examples to review later. I'm patient, clear, and I focus on building understanding - not just memorization.

Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson is 1 hour long and can be tailored in one of two ways:
1. Structured Topic Lesson - I'll prepare a focused lesson on a specific concept (like the unit circle, derivatives, or solving systems)
- A custom worksheet or review page ahead of time
- Clear explanations, examples, and practice problems during the session
2. Homework/Classwork support - If you send me assignments or recent class material in advance, I'll build the session around helping you master those exact problems and concepts.

Extras:
- I'm always available to answer follow-up questions between sessions.
- I design custom practice sheets or review guides for extra practice if needed.

As an Aerospace Engineering major who took AP Calculus, AP Physics, and honors math, I understand how important it is to not just pass but actually understand the material.
