About Tavish
Hi! I’m Tavish, an incoming Aerospace Engineering student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University—and my tutoring journey actually started at home. My younger sister, who’s now entering 7th grade, struggled to connect with most tutors. They didn’t match her learning style or pace—something I could relate to, having faced the same challenges myself. So, I stepped in. I started teaching her in a way that made sense to her—using creativity, patience, and fun techniques to make learning feel less like a chore and more like an adventure. That experience showed me the power of personalized teaching, and it sparked my passion for helping other students feel seen, heard, and capable. Since then, I’ve worked with students from Pre-K through upper high school, always bringing the same energy: making learning fun, meaningful, and built to last. I specialize in Physics and Math, but more than that—I specialize in making learning approachable, engaging, and confidence-building. Whether you’re looking to build strong fundamentals or tackle advanced topics, I’m here to support and guide you every step of the way!

I'm a firm believer that learning should be fun, not just facts crammed in for a test. I tutor students from Pre-K all the way through upper high school, tailoring each lesson to their age, learning style, and pace.
A typical lesson starts with identifying the student’s current understanding and areas of confusion. From there, I build up concepts step-by-step, incorporating practice problems, quick checks for understanding, and interactive explanations. If a student feels stuck, I slow down and try a new angle—because I know firsthand how frustrating it is when a tutor doesn’t adjust to your pace.
My approach is all about turning confusion into curiosity. I use stories, visuals, hands-on examples, and even humor to explain concepts in a way that sticks. Whether it's building math confidence in a 3rd grader or breaking down AP Physics for a high schooler, I focus on comprehension over memorization. Rote learning isn’t my thing because understanding lasts, and memorizing fades.
Each lesson is interactive and paced to match the student’s comfort level. I also teach fun and healthy study habits that not only make learning easier now but build lifelong academic confidence.
