About Juan Federico

I started my career to become a Civil Engineer and made it to the fourth year.

I tried teaching as an additional work. And gradually it became my profession! So I enrolled in superior studies to become a mathematics teacher, which career I am taking while I finish the last five subjects of Engineering.

At the end of 2021 I'll receive my degree as a Professor of Mathematics. And next year, Civil Engineer.

What I have learned in these past years: knowing mathematics is not the same as knowing how to teach mathematics. Both types of knowledge have their difficulties. And I enjoy them both!

About the lesson

Many of the knowledges are acquired by exercising, practicing, repeating. Often, you have to comply with what the content says that is required in high school or college.

However, always a timely example, an analogy that we had not thought of before, another point of view opportunely indicated or another method of solving a problem paves the way to knowledge and success in studies.

I particularly like these last considerations: showing another way to those who learn. And I focus my methods on students of all levels in high school or students who are entering a college career or in their first year.

The best results have been obtained when:
the student knows exactly what needs to be learned
the student has an outline of topics, exercises of a practical or test
the student has emotional support: a father, mother, brother, tutor or friend who accompanies him in his studies
the student looks for a support teacher early in time, in respect of the day of his or her test

Preferably surround yourself with all this and it will go well for you!
