About Mickayla
I am a Bachelor of Medical Science (Advanced) graduate with a laboratory research background, I am currently undertaking a Master of Social Work at UNE. I graduated high school in 2014 with an ATAR of 93, this is when I began tutoring both primary and high school students in science, math, english and history. I have over 5 years of tutoring experience, I have worked at a tuition centre and provided private tutoring at students' homes.

My teaching approach has a strong focus on building students' critical thinking and problem solving abilities. As a tutor I do not see my role as simply imparting information, rather I challenge students to engage with concepts in light of real-world issues and form their own understanding of topics.
