About Elise
I hold a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Guitar and have 8 years of experience teaching students from beginner to advanced levels. My academic training included solo performance studies, ensemble collaboration, and advanced improvisation techniques. These experiences strengthened my understanding of both structure and creativity in music. Throughout my career, I have helped students prepare for recitals, examinations, and personal artistic development.
My teaching philosophy centers on patience, organization, and measurable progress. I believe students improve best when lessons are structured and supportive. Many learners appreciate my clear demonstrations and encouraging teaching style. I carefully adapt lesson content to match each student’s learning pace and goals. Building confidence alongside technical excellence remains a key priority.

My guitar lessons focus on strengthening technical skills while encouraging expressive freedom. We begin with posture alignment and relaxed hand positioning to ensure comfort and prevent strain. I guide students through scale patterns, chord transitions, and rhythm drills to improve coordination and timing accuracy. Early sessions emphasize clean tone production and steady tempo control. Each lesson begins with structured warm-up routines that prepare both hands for focused practice. I clearly explain how technique influences tone quality and musical confidence.
As learners develop, we explore advanced articulation methods, dynamic variation, and melodic phrasing. Song analysis helps students understand harmony and musical structure. Improvisation exercises are gradually introduced to build creativity and musical independence. Performance preparation includes complete piece run-throughs to improve focus and reduce stage anxiety. Organized home practice plans ensure consistent growth outside of lessons.
