About Grace
Hello there, or Bonjour! My name is Grace Nelson, I am a freshman at the University of Washington majoring in French. I am nineteen years old and originally come from California. I have been studying the French language and culture since middle school, and took it consecutively throughout high school and will continue to study it. However, it is most definitely not a simple language to take on, which has motivated me to join this platform. With my current skills, I hope I can make all of my students' learning experiences as understandable and educational as possible to help them succeed. I hope to share the passion and interest I have for the language with my students, as I guide them through their journeys of learning French!

Whether you're a bit behind on French or a beginner and want to learn, I will be here to help teach you! Lessons are meant for high school level courses, from French I to French IV or AP French courses. Lessons for those starting out will begin with simple vocabulary and phrases, which will then be built off of into greater vocabulary, sentence structures, using conditional, subjunctive, informative tenses etc. I will use reading, speaking/listening, and writing exercises to teach French. I also have techniques to help students remember certain structures and conditions. If you're struggling with something specifically, communicate to me where you're at in learning the language and point out what is difficult to understand about it.
