About Zachary
Seeing students become more confident with the violin has always been one of the best parts of my job. It is rewarding to watch someone enjoy playing music that once felt too difficult.
I have a Bachelor of Music and 11 years of teaching experience with teenagers and adult students. Working with different learners has shown me that patience and clear guidance often make the biggest difference.
I believe music should be enjoyable as well as rewarding. My goal is to help every student feel proud of their progress, enjoy learning at their own pace, and continue playing with confidence.

During my violin lessons, we build strong basics before moving on to more advanced skills. Taking time to learn the right way helps students play with better control and enjoy the learning process without feeling rushed.
We'll practise posture, bow hold, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, vibrato, shifting, ear training, tone production, sight reading, music theory, and performance skills. When a piece feels difficult, we'll break it into smaller sections and work through them together until everything feels smoother.
Regular practice goals and lesson reviews help you see your progress from week to week. As your confidence grows, you'll notice better sound, smoother playing, and greater enjoyment every time you pick up your violin.
