My name is Darryl and I am a multi genre DJ going under the stage name DJ Deezo. With 15 years of experience, I currently Dj at some of the best venues in the UK and abroad while hosting a show on radio and creating engaging online content.

My lessons are online and typically 1 hour sessions.
I offer Intermediate to Advanced Lessons for any age.
I take great pride in teaching someone the Art & Skill of Dj-ing with a focus on teaching you the tools that could make you stand out from the crowd. In this day and age with the amount of creative tools at your disposal there is no better time to learn all the abilities of your Dj software and how to use these tools to express your creativity.
The software I focus on is Serato how ever I can relate the training to Rekordbox, Traktor & Virtual DJ.
Lessons include:
- Quick mixing techniques
- Using Loops effectively
- Serato Flip and programming songs to make live edits
- The art of mixing in key and making live mashups
- The recording process including editing and production
- How to use social media effectively
- Intro to turntablism - 4 Key scratches and basic routines
My teachings are from intermediate level and are online, so I do require a student to have at least some basic Dj equipment to practice on as well as a minimum experience of being able to mix songs together.
In the first free lesson I will need to assess your abilities and see what you require for your development. An important part of development is beat matching by ear if you cannot do this then your first 2 Lessons will be allocated to this. Unless you only want to learn the marketing aspect which includes creating content and live-streaming then we can skip over that.
