About Andrey
I hold a B.Ed. from Kazakhstan and an MA in Adult and Higher Education from the University of South Dakota. Beyond teaching, I organise summer programmes taking students to London, which keeps my English sharp and culturally current. I'm an avid reader and chess player - both habits that shape how I teach IELTS. I approach test preparation systematically, breaking down what examiners actually look for rather than recycling generic tips. Teaching is my off-season work between London programmes.

I believe learning happens beyond the classroom walls. Before each lesson, students receive targeted preparation materials. During our sessions, I guide practice that builds real skills, not just memorised templates. After we meet, students work with Zoom-integrated documents where I provide detailed, personalised feedback on their homework. My students consistently achieve 7.0-7.5 on IELTS, typically within 2-3 months of focused preparation. Many arrive scoring 5.5-6.0 and need structured guidance to break through to higher bands.
