Jacob works as a research assistant in the same lab I am in and I can confidently say that he is easily one of the smartest persons I have ever met.
Also, his ability to communicate science in a very clear and simple way is outstanding.
If I need to learn something and I am told that two persons can explain it to me and one of them is Jacob, I will almost always pick Jacob as I am confident that he does a good job in passing knowledge.

Jacob was my team leader for a Biochemistry research project for about a year. I had so many questions and made so many mistakes, but he always reacted positively toward me with kindness and patience. He also always knew the answers to all of my questions, it felt like! I have always looked forward to working with him, and he has been a wonderful mentor.
