About Mark
I am a final-year LLB (Hons) student with a strong academic background, predicted a mid/high First Class and extensive experience supporting, mentoring, and training others in both educational and professional environments. Alongside my studies, I lead a legal charity team and oversee internal and external training programmes, developing clear, accessible teaching methods for individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
As someone with ADHD and dyslexia myself, I understand first-hand that many students are highly capable but may struggle with confidence, concentration, organisation, memory retention, or traditional teaching styles. For me personally, it would have made a huge difference growing up to have been taught by someone who understood, even a little, what was going on in my head when trying to learn. That understanding is something I try to bring into every lesson.
I provide tutoring in GCSE Maths, English and Science, alongside A Level Law, with a particular interest and specialism in Public Law and constitutional topics. Lessons are tailored to the individual student and focus not only on subject knowledge, but also on revision techniques, exam strategy, essay structure, memory retention, and study skills. I use clear explanations, practical examples, visual learning methods, and structured repetition to help students build understanding and confidence over time.
My lessons are particularly well suited to neurodivergent students, including those with ADHD and dyslexia, as well as students who may feel anxious or overwhelmed in academic settings. I take a calm, patient, and encouraging approach, recognising that every student learns differently.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are suitable for secondary school students, GCSE students, A Level Law students, and adult learners seeking additional support.
I pride myself on being professional, reliable, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping students succeed academically while improving their confidence in their own abilities.

My teaching approach is centred around patience, adaptability, and building confidence. As a final-year LLB student with both ADHD and dyslexia, I understand first-hand that every student learns differently, and I tailor lessons to suit each individual’s learning style and pace.
I specialise in supporting students studying GCSE Maths, English and Science, as well as A Level Law. My lessons are particularly well suited to neurodivergent students, including those with ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety around learning, or difficulties with confidence and organisation. Additionally, I also teach LLB preparation.
I break complex topics down into manageable sections using clear explanations, visual techniques, active recall, repetition, and practical examples. I also help students develop revision strategies, exam technique, essay structure, and study organisation skills alongside subject knowledge.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged where appropriate. I offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions and build confidence gradually.
Alongside my law degree, I previously led a legal charity team, overseeing and delivering both internal and external training programmes, helping to train and support volunteers working in legal and public-facing environments. I also have experience working in healthcare and leadership roles, which has strengthened my communication skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of learners.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school students, GCSE students, A Level Law students, and adult learners seeking additional academic support.
