Aderonke is a 40 year old professional teacher with over 15 years of experience. She is passionate about her job and pays attention to every details while ensuring that her students not only learn, but that they enjoy learning anytime she has to teach them.

Aderonke has a degree and a Masters Degree in Education and she is an experienced teacher.
She connects easily with her students and she puts all the learning styles into consideration while planning her lessons and also teaching. She ensures no students is left behind by using teaching aids, story telling, assignments, projects, research work, role play, show and tell methods while delivering a lesson.

Time Frame; 60 mins
Materials Needed ; Laptop, PowerPoint presentation, worksheets for class work and home work.
Objectives; After the lesson, students will be able to
(i). Incorporate capitalization of words while writing sentences.
(ii)Apply capitalizations appropriately while writing.
Introduction (5mins)
Start the powerPoint presentation by giving the students the following information.
Slide 1. Today we are going to work with capitalization in sentences.
Procedure;
Step 1; Discuss about proper nouns as words that their first letters are capitalized anywhere they are positioned in a sentence.
Step 2: Give examples of such words Examples are; Tuesday, January, Peter, Christmas Eve, New Year Day.
Step 3: Ask students to come up with their own examples and write them in their note books.
Conclusion/Evaluation; Wrap up by telling the students every first letter of any word that starts a sentence must be capitalized.
Hand out the homework assignment sheet, which asks the students to capitalize the first letter of every word that needs to be capitalized in the following sentences
