About Gabriella

I've always had a love for Mathematics, Biology and understanding how things work. I'm naturally curious, creative and enjoy finding new ways to make challenging concepts easier to understand.

Outside of academics, I have a passion for ballet, staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I love meeting new people and believe that learning should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Through my tutoring experience, I've discovered how fulfilling it is to see students grow in confidence and achieve things they once thought were impossible. I'm patient, approachable and genuinely invested in helping each student succeed.

Having experienced the challenges of demanding academic subjects myself, I understand the importance of perseverance, encouragement and finding a learning method that works for you.

I hope to inspire my students not only to achieve better marks, but also to develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning!

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach

I believe that every student learns differently, which is why I tailor my lessons to each student's individual needs, strengths and areas for improvement. My goal is to make Biology interesting, approachable and easier to understand, rather than simply encouraging memorisation.

I use a combination of visual diagrams, real-life examples, active recall techniques and practice questions to help students develop a deeper understanding of the material. I also encourage students to ask questions and actively participate in lessons, creating a relaxed and supportive learning environment.

How I Structure My Lessons

My lessons typically last 45–60 minutes, depending on the student's age, level and learning goals.

I generally begin with clear explanations of new concepts. We then work through examples and practice questions together to reinforce understanding. I finish by identifying any areas that need further attention and ensuring the student feels confident with what we've covered.

My Qualifications and Experience

I hold a degree in Actuarial Science and am currently pursuing Medicine, reflecting my strong academic background and passion for science. With tutoring experience, I've developed a patient, adaptable and encouraging teaching style that focuses on building both knowledge and confidence.
