Beyond simply being my first language, English has been the key to a world of self-expression, unlocked by a deep appreciation of its rhythm and musicality. I am an active poet and musician, and am enthusiastic about the ability of language to unlock worlds we could only imagine before.

Hi!
Confident self-expression in a new language is one of the most daunting skills to develop. As a second-language speaker of both Spanish and Irish, I understand exactly how challenging it can be to develop a grounding in a new language, to appreciate its underlying structures, and to become comfortable with it in the day-to-day. To this end, I aim to encourage students to develop this proficiency, both in written and spoken communication, while engaging with the interests of the student in English - the best way to learn a language in my opinion is to tie it to something that you're already interested in! I am an experienced teacher with 7+ years of teaching experience across a range of subjects. In addition, as a proficient speaker of Spanish, I can assist Spanish speakers who wish to develop their English more rapidly.
Lessons will be held online and last 50 minutes, and are available for all levels.
