I am a deeply passionate person about the arts, creation, self-expression and have a thirst for knowledge that inspires my way of connection. Firstly, we would see your current knowledge in the subject. Your goals, curriculum/project outlines, needs and how you would like to learn.A typical lesson would be up to an hour.
I will then offer a framework/ lesson plan to work from. As we begin to build a rapport or connection we will refine what each lesson may contain.
Te Reo Māori me ōna tikanga tutoring/lessons : My dialect is typically 'general' leaning towards a Ngāti Porou influence due to my education. I achieved highly in all years at College and have gone to attain my Level 5 certificate at Te Wānanga o Raukawa.
-I can offer a space of tautoko to build confidence in conversational reo.
-Build vocabulary to use at home space and at work.
-Tikanga, rituals, stories and myths will be explored to encompass the Māori world-view. We will learn Pepeha and Karakia.
( Any ages are welcome and comfortable teaching up to Level 4. )
English tutoring: Will tutor seniors in their NCEA L1-L3. I have an Excellence endorsement in English in all senior levels.
Piano teaching: I previously learned piano for 8 years. Can teach from 5 years +
