About Madyline
I love teaching and working with students - I remember taking the ACT and everything leading up to the moment of test day. My favorite part about ACT/SAT tutoring is tailoring my approach to each student's needs and strategically pinpointing the areas we'll focus on together to ensure best results. My goal is for each student to feel empowered and equipped going into the test - not only with knowledge on the material itself, but with a broader understanding of the test format and a sense of confidence around what to expect.

As an ACT/SAT Tutor, my approach is very tailored to each student and their needs. Before diving into any test material, I will ask about score goals and any previous tests taken, either practice or official. As long as students are willing to share, I will ask for copies of ACT/SAT test results so I can gain an understanding of which area(s) to focus on. I am also experienced in helping students determine which test to take, if guidance is needed on whether the ACT or SAT is a better fit.
I tackle test-taking strategies, content seen on the test, and guide students on how to study and prep efficiently. Each section of the ACT/SAT has its own strategic approach and there are certain consistencies between all tests in terms of the types of questions asked and the material covered - I am able to coach students on these higher level insights in addition to reviewing the material itself.
I am also more than happy to meet with parents during the first lesson to answer any questions, outline my approach, talk about my experience as a tutor, etc.
