About David
I started learning how to play the guitar around 12 years ago and have been writing songs for the past 9 years. I appreciate every genre of music but mainly enjoy rock, country, metal, pop, and hip hop. I love experimenting with chord progressions, scales, chord shapes, and genres. I have always loved helping others learn anything, so nothing beats combining teaching and music together!

I tailor my lessons around your interests by coming up with lesson plans designed to help you improve incrementally while also maintaining the fun and excitement that led you to begin your music journey. I gradually incorporate guitar music theory into the lessons to help you understand the patterns in what you hear and are learning to play in order to accelerate your understanding and overall improvement.
I am most well suited to be your teacher if you want to learn how to play and sing simultaneously on acoustic, electric guitar improvisation, pop/country acoustic guitar slap picking with finger picking, guitar fretboard theory (chord voicings, scales, etc.), and using a DAW as a practicing tool.
