About Mary
I'm Mary, a finance apprentice and a previous struggling student who understands how challenging A-levels can be. I've done the trial and error, and I want to present students a clear, easier approach to Biology. Many students know the content but don't know how to apply it- the difference between a C grade student and an A* student. I aim to make these strategies and resources accessible so that more students can reach their potential and achieve the grade they deserve.

I know what it feels like to struggle, my first topic test was a C. Through consistent effort and active practice, I progressed to a B, then A, and ultimately achieved an A*. I make lessons relatable and logical, starting from foundations and gradually building up to more complex topics. I emphasise understanding over memorisation, and I have plenty of tips to move from just knowing the content to applying. My lessons are interactive: I ask students to explain their reasoning to identify gaps in their understanding. My aim is to show students that they can improve with the right approach, patience and guidance. Typical length: 30min- 1 hour MON-FRI 5pm-10pm. Sat-Sun 8am-10pm Online Suitable for Year 12 and Year 13 students.
