About the lesson

My eight years as a guitar instructor have been marked by the privilege of guiding over 300 students through the rewarding journey of learning to play. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their musical potential. I believe in starting with the fundamentals, ensuring a solid grasp of basic chords, strumming patterns, and fingerstyle techniques. However, I also recognize the importance of keeping students engaged by incorporating their favorite songs and musical styles into the lessons. For those interested in songwriting, I offer guidance on music theory, chord progressions, and lyrical development, helping them to bring their creative ideas to life.

For students aiming for live performance, I provide practical advice on stage presence, equipment setup, and interacting with an audience. My aim is not just to teach guitar but to cultivate a lifelong love of music, fostering creativity, discipline, and self-expression in each of my students.
