Having sat my Leaving Cert just 2 years ago, I understand the challenges students face when preparing for exams. My own experience has given me valuable insight into the most effective study techniques and the importance of exam strategy in securing top marks. I believe that any student can excel with the right approach and guidance. Science subjects can feel overwhelming, but with clear explanations, structured lessons, and practice, they become much more manageable. I take pride in being patient, approachable, and understanding, ensuring that my students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence in the subject. Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy because I love helping students realize their potential. Seeing someone go from struggling with a topic to confidently solving exam questions is incredibly rewarding. My goal is to simplify complex ideas, break down marking schemes, and teach students how to answer questions effectively, so they can walk into their exams feeling prepared and assured. About the lesson

My lessons focus on clarity, patience, and exam-focused learning. I break down complex topics into easy-to-understand sections, ensuring students grasp the fundamental concepts before moving on to more advanced material. I place a strong emphasis on marking schemes, teaching students how to structure their answers to maximise marks. Lessons are interactive, with exam-style questions, guided practice, and feedback to help students develop confidence and accuracy.

Each lesson typically lasts one hour, but I can adjust the length based on the student's needs. Sessions can be longer for intensive revision or shorter for targeted topic reviews.

I am a UCD Medicinal Chemistry student with a strong academic background, having achieved 613 points in my Leaving Cert, including H1s in both Chemistry and Biology. I have experience tutoring students at various levels and understand the best strategies for exam success.

These lessons are designed for Leaving Cert (Higher and Ordinary level) and Junior Cert students who want to improve their understanding, refine their exam technique, or boost their confidence.
