About Beau
I've always loved Economics — not just for the exam, but for how it explains the real decisions behind prices, markets and policy. After achieving an A* in A-Level Economics myself, alongside founding and running my school's Investment & Finance Society for two years, I know exactly what separates a good exam answer from a top one, and I genuinely want to help other students get there too.
I'm now studying Economics and Finance at the University of Exeter, so my subject knowledge is current, exam-relevant and built for the specification you're actually being tested on, not years out of date. I take tutoring seriously: lessons are structured, punctual, and tailored to your specific weak points rather than generic revision slides.
My goal with every student is simple — to help you walk into that exam feeling genuinely confident, not just hopeful.

I teach A-Level Economics using a mix of structured exam technique and real-world application — breaking down tricky micro and macro concepts into clear diagrams and worked examples, then moving on to past-paper practice and detailed mark-scheme analysis, so you know exactly what examiners are looking for at the top grades.
Lessons typically run 1-2 hours, giving enough time to properly cover a topic, apply it to essay and data-response questions, and go through your written work in real depth rather than rushing.
Having achieved an A* overall in A-Level Economics (98% in Microeconomics, 97% in Macroeconomics), plus experience founding and running my school's Investment & Finance Society, I know first-hand what it takes to move from a solid grade to a top one.
My lessons are for any A-Level Economics student aiming to achieve an A or A* — whether you're already strong on the basics and chasing those extra marks, or need a topic rebuilt from the ground up.

Beau has been an absolute lifesaver for my son's A-Level Economics studies. Before they started working together, the material felt overwhelming, but Beau has a fantastic ability to break down complex concepts and truly make them make sense.
He is incredibly patient, thorough, and dedicated to ensuring a deep understanding of the subject rather than just memorizing answers. Thanks to his clear explanations and structured approach, my son’s confidence has soared.
If you are looking for an exceptional tutor who genuinely cares about their students' progress, I cannot recommend Beau highly enough!
