About Gweneth
I am a Law university student with a deep passion for English Literature. In my spare time, I love reading both literature and philosophy, and I’ve always been drawn to the power of language and ideas. I’m a dedicated academic with strong communication skills, and I genuinely enjoy helping others grow in confidence and ability. For over three years, I’ve worked as a professional tutor in both English and Maths, teaching online and in-centre at an established tutoring organisation. This experience has given me the skills to work with students of different levels and learning styles in a structured, encouraging, and effective way. I bring not only subject expertise but also patience, professionalism, and a real enthusiasm for teaching.

As someone who received two grade 9s in English Literature and Language at GCSE and was top of my class at A Level (achieving an A), I bring both academic excellence and a genuine passion for English to every lesson. My sessions are fully online, flexible, and tailored to suit the individual needs of each student — whether you're aiming to build confidence, push for top grades, or master a particular text. My approach is student-focused and highly adaptable: I work closely with each learner to strengthen essay writing skills, deepen literary analysis, and build a solid understanding of exam techniques. I offer personalised guidance on specific texts, themes, and characters - from Shakespeare to modern poetry — and I draw on a wide range of contextual knowledge to help students build insightful arguments. Lessons typically last between 1 to 3 hours depending on your needs and schedule. I teach students preparing for GCSE and A Level exams and welcome learners of all abilities — whether you’re struggling with structure or aiming for that grade 9/A*. My teaching is grounded in encouragement, clarity, and structure — ensuring that every session is productive, engaging, and enjoyable.
