About Yusuf
Hi! I’m a recent high-achieving graduate with about 96 ATAR and a deep passion for English and Math. I’ve always loved exploring how ideas connect, how problems can be solved creatively, and how the right explanation can make something suddenly click. I started tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping others reach their potential. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed or stuck—and I also know the confidence that comes from finally understanding something deeply. My goal is to make learning feel approachable, supportive, and even enjoyable. Whether you're aiming for top marks or just want to feel more confident in class, I’m here to help you get there—at your pace, in your own way.

As a private tutor with a 96 ATAR (rounded up) and a strong focus on English and Math, my approach is centered on clarity, confidence, and strategy. I believe that every student can excel with the right support—whether they're aiming to boost their grades, master challenging content, or reach their personal academic goals.
Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all method, I tailor each session to the student’s individual learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement. I break down complex ideas into manageable steps, offer targeted feedback, and guide students to develop exam-ready techniques, especially for essay writing, problem-solving, and time management.
Having been through the HSC journey myself, I understand the pressure—and how to navigate it. I aim to be more than just a tutor; I’m a mentor who helps students build confidence, stay motivated, and develop long-term academic habits that last beyond the final exam.
